Great value for money
Laminate flooring consists of a particleboard base covered by a photographic layer topped with a protective coating. Invented in Sweden in the 1970s, it has become an extremely popular choice for homes and businesses throughout the UK. It is hard-wearing, low maintenance and great value for money. It is not ideal for those rooms that are subject to high levels of moisture, such as kitchens or bathrooms, as it can become warped if it is exposed to too much water. However, for homes with pets, a laminated floor makes it easy to vacuum up pet hair and wipe off paw prints.
